Woitzik Polsinelli LLP (“WP Law”) has specialized in real estate for over 22 years and was founded by lawyer Mark Woitzik in 2001. Despite facing a life-altering accident during his first year of university, Mark persevered and obtained an economics degree with Honors from York University after a year of physical rehabilitation. He later attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was called to the Bar in 2000. Over the course of his career, he developed his firm to be one of the top Real Estate firms in the Durham Region and eventually within the entire Greater Toronto Area. Though Mark no longer practices Real Estate Law, he has become well-known as a commentator on accessibility issues, providing expert insights on interest rates and real estate matters through appearances on CTV News.
WP Law’s co-founder, Marco Polsinelli received his undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. After being called to the Bar in Ontario in 2001, Marco began a private practice where he specialized in residential and commercial real estate. Soon after, he continued this practice with Stewart Title where he ultimately oversaw their entire operation in Canada as their Senior VP. In 2016 Marco joined WP Law to work alongside his friend, Mark Woitzik, and although Marco no longer practices law, he remains actively engaged in current real estate industry issues in his position as President of Stewart Title’s Canadian Division.
In 2020, WP Law gained the support of the full-service law firm, Devry Smith Frank LLP. This collaboration has allowed the firm to serve all areas of law and a broader scope of areas in Ontario. With the support and expertise of the 60+ lawyers at DSF, the WP Law team of top-tier lawyers, law clerks, legal assistants, and a conveyancer, now serves a broader range of clients and provides comprehensive legal services including those related to commercial and residential real estate matters, as well as wills and estates, and corporate law.
