I recommend you DO NOT hire this lawyer for your real estate deal. If you want to be chasing every aspect of their job for them, go ahead and hire them.
First off, they ask you to fill out this online details about yourself, it takes about an hour, then in future calls they ask the same questions you answered online wasting your time.
When it came to getting final numbers, they gave us two days to transfer the funds from one account to another and to go get a draft. They gave no assistance in estimating the final numbers.
We had to chase the vendors lawyer for the final adjustments for closing costs. Then they send it to us, we get the draft and they notify us the numbers are wrong and we need to make a wire transfer.
They tried to book us for signing on the day before closing. Do you think we might be busy packing and loading a truck?
Two days before closing we go in to see our actual lawyer, Ashley, and we were assured that the funds would be requested from the bank. Well we found out the funds were only requested the morning of closing and guess what, we were only able to close at the end of the day. It’s almost as if our main contact Jennifer really cared nothing about the client or what they will be going through the day of closing.
This firm used to be the best when Mark was around. For now, avoid them and find a lawyer where you aren’t simply a number.
